Hi, I'm Kevin Hardman. I'm a practitioner, advocate, and writer. I believe few things are as important as how we build our places.
Like you, I’m a peculiar, complex, unique human. Here are my other beliefs.
My bio is below.
Bio
Kevin Hardman has spent nearly 25 years creating better cities, towns, and places.
Beginning his career as an Electrical Engineer, he soon realized his heart and passions lay in creating places that nurture, uplift, and enhance humanity. Kevin spent years managing redevelopments in and around Chicago’s Cabrini-Green public housing development. Kevin and his family were among the first residents of Chicago's first mixed-income development on Cabrini-Green land.
Seeing the crucial link between places and mobility, Kevin led the Wisconsin Bike Fed into the country's largest state bicycle advocacy and educational organization. Yearning to return to on-the-ground city projects, Kevin joined local entrepreneurs to launch Bublr Bikes, Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s bike share system. Kevin also worked with the renowned architectural studio, The Kubala Washatko Architects, to grow their impact and reach.
Kevin serves as an executive coach for Cavendish Vernal. He is also on the Advisory Board for the Parking Reform Network, the organizing committee for Strong Towns Metro Milwaukee, and the Board of Directors for the Chris Kegel Foundation.
Raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, he lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with his family.
